What is PITS?

PITS is a young Dutch publisher of psychological instruments and tests for the fields: Health Care / Clinical, Human Resource Management (HRM) and Education. PITS publishes original instruments and distributes instruments of other - mainly American - publishers.
The company operates in Holland, Belgium (Dutch language), Germany, Switzerland, Austria (German language) and America, England, ... (English language).
PITS is a professional publisher, contributing both on content level as well as on product level to the quality of the product.

Background of PITS

PITS stands for many years of experience in research and publishing. The founders of PITS have professional knowledge of diagnosic processes. This contributes to both the content and the structure and layout of the products. Computerized and internet applications are considered realistic options, without being overestimated or a goal in itself.

Who founded PITS?

Dr. Riet Dekker: worked as test publisher for about 10 years. She particated in the publication of clinical, HRM and educational products. Before that, she participated in university research products.
Her dissertation concerned the development of an intelligence test for visually impaired children (ITVIC). After being trained as an experimental psychologist, diagnosic experience with children and adults in several content areas followed.
Dr. Jacqueline Mulder: Neuropsychologist. Her dissertation concerned the development and standardization of a Dutch verbal memory test for adults. She participated in intelligence test projects in The Netherlands and is coauthor of a Dutch neuropsychological handbook.
