Ordering and Shipping of materials take place according to the Terms and Conditions submitted with the Chamber of Commerce Leiden (NL) in July 2002. Registration Number of PITS 28087820.

How to order?

Ordering is simple:

• If you wish to order a PITS test, e.g. the VAT (Visual Association Test), please inform PITS preferably by Fax (or telephone or e-mail) and use the 'prices and order form' under Product List.


• Go to Product List.
• Select the Prices and order form.
• Go to the product line: e.g. VAT Starterset.
• Enter the number of copies you would like to order (e.g. if you would like to have 100 Record forms and if the forms are bundled in quantities of 50, you need to order 2 packages of 50!).
• Select the shipping procedure (regular mail: costs indicated as a percentage of the product price or airmail: costs often higher).
• Fill out the VAT number if necessary (EU only).
• Enter the name of the organization and all other shipping and billing details.
• Print this order (Fax).

Sending both order and Registration Form will avoid a situation whereby an order will be awaiting registration or vice versa.

There are only a limited number of authorized distributors of PITS products. This guarantees the quality of the products.

• If you would like to order an English language test from another publisher, it is better to contact PITS by e-mail or telephone +31 (0)71-5318786 to enquire about prices, availability, etc.

Registration / Customer Number

If you would like to order a PITS product or an instrument published by another publisher, in both cases PITS will need a completed Customer Qualification Form. You can either send in your Registration details with your order or before ordering.

Complete the Qualification Form (see above 'How to order'), sign it and fax (or post) it to PITS.
PITS will inform you about a personal/customer registration number (by e-mail or post).

This PITS registration number can be used for future orders.

Relevant Ordering Details

The prices are in Euro and exclusive VAT (unless otherwise indicated). Import duties have to be paid by the customer.
Shipping costs are billed separately.

Shipping by regular post is slower but cheaper. If you do not need the materials quickly, you can use that option. These costs are a percentage of the total amount of products ordered.
Airmail is faster, generally taking only a few days. The real costs will be billed (they depend on weight and volume of the package).

NB: If your organization is established in the European Union and has a VAT-number then please state this VAT-number on the order form; only if PITS knows the VAT number, the Dutch VAT can be left out.

Order confirmation You would like to confirm your order?
If you confirm an order in writing, be sure to make clear that it is a confirmation of an order already sent in (and NOT a new order).

Payment

At its sole discretion, PITS may either ask for prepayment or enclose an invoice with the shipment. Outside Europe, prepayment is required.
If prepayment is required, a pro forma invoice is sent. The total costs can be remitted or they can be paid by credit card.
If the invoice is paid by check additional costs will be charged.
In all these three cases, the products will be shipped immediately upon receipt of payment.

For international remittance of the total amount of your order, you need the IBA Number (IBAN) and BIC (or Swift Address). These numbers can be found on the letters and invoices of PITS.

In case of paying via credit card (MasterCard or Visa)   PITS needs the following credit card details:

• Credit card Owner (organization and/or name).
• Credit card Number.
• Card verification-number (last 3 or 4 digits near the signature line on reverse of card).
• Expiration date/Valid thru ../..
• Your signature to confirm that your account can be debited for the total amount of the order.

Fax (or mail) these details to PITS (fax number: see details at the right; Fax or mail are preferred for safety reasons).

PITS will confirm by fax or e-mail that your account will be debited for the amount authorized.

Research and Education: Universities, Libraries

PITS will supply materials for research projects and educational training to any qualified person registered with PITS. This person will be responsible for the use of the materials.

Libraries
If an instrument is ordered for a test library, PITS will need to be informed about the inspection or lending procedures; controlled supervision is necessary.

Shipping

If the materials are on stock, orders are shipped - by regular mail or airmail - within 3 days after receipt of the amount due for your order.

Return Policy

Having received the ordered materials:

• Check the contents.
• If something is wrong, please contact PITS before taking any other action!

PITS should be informed of shipping errors within 10 (working) days after receipt of the materials. Contact PITS and mention the invoice number: T-.....

• When returning materials, please make sure that you clearly indicate: the name of the organization, the sender and the address. Enclose the invoice and state the reason for returning the materials.
• Shipping and handling costs cannot be refunded.
• Return shipping costs will be for account of the sender.
• When received in Leiden, the returned materials must be in resalable condition.
